As an artist and storyteller, I am drawn to vintage photos, antiques, old books, discarded items, bits and pieces of ephemera, and all things paper -- its textures and colors.  While insignificant to many, these materials beckon, inviting questions as to their origin story and challenging me to tell their “new” story. Their "new" narrative comes together as I combine and edit them, never quite knowing where the essence of each will lead.

 

The ultimate goal is to create an evocative reality – a new vista – that transports and draws the viewer in, igniting exploration, discovery, and emotion.
